Has the Real World Washington DC become reality or is it still a rumor. A link on Boxxet which then linked to Vevmo in a post that
Filming is planned to start at the end of June and will run through late fall 2009, which would position it for an early winter 2010 premiere sometime after the conclusion of The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Pit.
The next paragraph by the “Editor in Chief” has to some kind of joke. MTV would never do that. Casting directors have opened up the casting to everyone but they would love to include someone who is physically challenged, individual struggling with weight issues, someone themselves or a family member who is dealing with immigration issues, a person who is coming out of foster care, a person who has recently lost a spouse or a significant other, or someone to bring to the spotlight a political issue or cause.
The upcoming Real World was filmed or is filming in Cancun.
What ever happened to just keeping pretty people on TV. That’s why we are sticking with Blonde Charity Mafia.
For 25 years Miriams Kitchen has been serving the homeless in Washington DC. Miriams Kitchen also holds their 100 Bowls of Compassion Gala where they tell stories of Washington DC’s most vulnerable men and women.
This year you can nominate a person to be bowled. If your nominee is picked their office, bedroom, or car will be plastered with hundreds of plastic bowls. Check out this video below on what being “bowled” is about.
They will also receive a free ticket to 100 Bowls of Compassion on May 14th. To nominate someone to be bowled check the Miriams Kitchen 100 Bowls of compassion page. This looks to be a great event. Another reality series is popping up, only this time this will be a web series, it wont even be airing on a major television nework but it will be on a major Internet video network (YouTube). Yes, it is Chris Cooley, looks to be a reality series or a day in the life of Chris Cooley.
The show will be called The Cooley Zone. We have seen some other atheletes such as Dieon Sanders run with a reality show, why not Chris Cooley? It is only a matter of time for the Real Housewives of Washington DC or Real World DC.

Could MTV’s Real World finally be coming to DC? Various media outlets have been speculating since late Feburary about the Real World DC. We just blew it off. Now the Washington Business Journal out of all media outlets are speculating. Washington Businness Journal you are a little late to be honest.
The stories stems from a “Major reality television production company” is looking to fill a job for a production accountant in DC. The job starts April 15 and lasts 22 to 26 weeks. The ad was placed by Bunim/Murry productions who are the creators of the MTV Reality TV show. The job posting has since changed the company to confidential.

Rumors of Real World DC has been rumoring for about 6 to 8 years with Adam’s Morgan being location central for the cast of characters. DC itself is soon become reality central. Blonde Charity Mafia will hopefully set the standard.

a “real” reality show coming to d.c.?
The Washington Post’s Liz Kelly, celebritology blogger held a chat session today. First questions was of course about Blonde Charity Mafia, here is the question and answer regarding BCM.
AtlantaVIANo,VA: So, how about this “Blonde Charity Mafia” show that’s about to start? Because we need yet another version of “The Hills” out there… I just don’t get it. Thoughts?
Liz Kelly: I’n not convinced that anyone has hit on the right formula for a D.C.-based reality show yet. And, trust me, I know whereof I speak.
My hope is that the Bravo folks are rushing a “Real Housewives of D.C.” into production. At least if some of the illustrious folks pictured in the local luxury mags (Washingtonian, Capitol File) were tapped to join in. Suburban McMansion mistresses visiting the Red Door spa, Queen Noor’s workout routine… the possibilities are endless.

The Blonde Charity Mafia Facebook pages seems to be updated almost every 10 minutes with photos, press releases, new media excerpts, links, videos, etc… whatever you wanted to know about the show, it is on there.
In “cast” posting, there seems to be some characters that we will see on the show. Interesting characters in deed, I guess that is Washington for you.
